- Double FEI World Dressage Champions Lottie Fry and Glamourdale wicompeting in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Grand Prix and Freestyle to Music supported by Horse & Hound on Thursday 15 December and Friday 16 December respectively. It will be the first time the pair have competed on home soil since their remarkable performances in Herning earlier this year.
- The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 18 December with reigning champion Harry Charles hoping to retain his title. Charles, who was a pivotal part of the British 2022 World Championship bronze medal-winning team, also claimed the London Grand Prix last year, so will be looking to close the 2022 Show in similar style. Show Jumping action starts on Thursday 15 December with the Voltaire Design Under-25 British Championship where London International Horse Show ambassador Jodie Hall McAteer will be looking for a hattrick, having won the last two editions of the class.
- The adrenaline-fueled Extreme Driving supported by Karen and Hugh Scott Barrett will take place on Thursday 15 December, with the FEI Driving World Cup™ presented by Eurofip International taking centre stage on Friday 16 December and Saturday 17 December.
- Back by popular demand, the Fancy Dress Relay makes a welcome return to the London International Horse Show but with a modern makeover and a celebrity judging panel. The whole evening will be rounded-off with a festive After Party in the Champagne Taittinger Champagne Bar, where competitors will join in the fun and dance the night away, and anyone in that night’s audience wearing fancy dress will have free entry.
- The Live Zone is back and will feature more action than ever before. The new format will enable an ‘always on’ schedule and will present fans with the exciting opportunity to meet and interact with their favourite equestrian influencers and riders, involving the Show’s ambassadors and celebrities including Harry Charles, Lottie Fry, Jodie Hall-McAteer, Jack Whitaker, Joe Stockdale, This Esme, Harlow White, Tina Wallace and Megan Elphick.
- The Markel Jockeys Jumping in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund returns to The London International Horse Show for the first time since 2019, featuring some of the most prolific jockeys of Great Britain and Ireland. Heading the boys’ team will be 20-time champion National Hunt jockey Sir Anthony ‘AP’ McCoy, whilst the record-breaking Rachael Blackmore will represent the girls.
- There will be daily performances from The Devil’s Horsemen and La Garde Républicaine. Both have prepared thrilling acts that will have the audience in awe of their horsemanship and skills.
- Masterclasses take centre stage at the Show this year. ‘Dressage Unwrapped: Back to the Future’ returns on Thursday 15 December in the Main Arena, featuring the likes of Lottie Fry, Carl Hester MBE and Richard Davison. Furthermore, three new masterclasses have been added to the schedule this year including the ‘Para Dressage Showcase’, The ‘London International Riding Academy’ masterclass and ‘Pippa Funnell’s Winter Survival Guide’.
- The shopping village is back and better than ever. With over 200 stands, where you can purchase anything from a hoof pick at Hope Valley Saddlery to a horsebox at Bloomfields Horseboxes, the shopping this year has something for everyone. Shoppers can fuel their fashion passions with luxury lifestyle brands such as Holland Cooper and Fairfax & Favour, whilst the horse mad will be delighted to know that all their favourite brands such as Voltaire Design and Aztec Diamond Equestrian will be in attendance.
- And finally, a bit of fun for all the audience – the Show’s ‘unofficial dance’ will be the TikTok sensation, ‘Made You Look’. The Show’s professional dance troupe will be teaching ticket holders the moves from Meghan Trainor’s hit song through dance lessons in the Main Boulevard, after which the crowd in the arena will be invited to join in during the event itself.

The first International Horse Show took place in the Olympia halls in 1907. Olympia, The London International Horse Show, was founded by Raymond Brooks-Ward in 1972 and has run annually in December for 50 years. This year's London International Horse Show will take place from 15-19 December 2022 at ExCeL London. The Show will play host to a packed timetable of all things equestrian and is expected to welcome over 90,000 visitors. It is one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious equine competitions. The Show mixes top class equestrian action, including FEI World Cup™ Jumping, Dressage and Driving with family entertainment, such as The Shetland Pony Grand National and The Kennel Club Dog Agility.
